The East All Stars held on for a 14-7 victory in the Jun 21 KHQA Do Or Die Bowl, held at Hannibal High School. The Ninth Annual Do Or Die Bowl is a high school all star football game, comprised of graduating senior players selected from the KHQA TV coverage area.

Clark County HS representatives included coaches Quentin Hamner, Josh Roberts, Lance Smith and Tony McKee. Indian players included Logan Prewitt, Austin Egley, Bryce Boudreau, Bryson Bertelli, Lincoln Jones, Brandon Bourgeois, Luke Ross and Kyle Kovar.

Nathan Miller represented Knox County HS while Chris Sparks represented Highland HS. Monroe City, Louisiana, Centralia, Paris, Hannibal, Keokuk, Mark Twain, South Shelby, Macon, Van-Far and Palmyra had players on the West All Stars. The winning East Team was made up of players from Illinois High Schools.

The game was thrilling and competitive right down the final play. The contest was at the same time ragged, with nine total turnovers. The West All Stars lost the football five times, including a last gasp try on the East two yard line.

Clark County running back Austin Egley was presented the West All Stars Mike McCombs Scholarship Award for leadership on and off the field during practice. The award was voted on by participating coaches.
